My day started out with being woke by Sadie (the 5 month old lab) at the break of dawn. She is a loving energetic new member to the family.
One of her favorite things to do is walk out with me to the chicken coop. Since she arrived we have had to add a different enclosure for the chickens, she thinks they are fun to chase.
As we head to the chicken coop, Sadie is rearing to go, ball in her mouth. We let the chickens out and she runs around like crazy, bark! bark! We head back to the house, and finally my first cup of coffee. As I sip my coffee and enjoy the aroma of "Dark Chocolate Truffle " (pick of the day), I brain storm of what is on the agenda for the day. Out comes the Beagles, sleepy as can be, one right after the other. Cooper and Chance!
They are slow starters, but don't let them get the sniff of a rabbit. O-boy, I can tell you some stories about their great adventures. That is for another day!So today for starters, I made some homemade dog treats. I was tired of paying the expensive $$ amount for healthy dog treats. So, I set out to find recipes for homemade healthy treats for the dogs.
One of the easiest recipe is with baby food. From there I mix things up and come up with healthy recipes. I will add to the recipe page.So, I whipped up a few batches of dog treats and they just love them. Since I was in the kitchen I whipped of some Cookies and Oat Bran Muffins.
Ok, that was my morning. I wrapped up the day with chores and the dogs ran a muck, so baths for them. As the evening approached, I sat down with my husband for a lovely chicken dinner.Ending my day with gathering chicken eggs and relaxing as I
