Hello Readers, October is here, time to start adding your spooky decorations to your fall decor. Have the kids start thinking of how they are going to carve their pumpkins or maybe paint them into fabulous jack-o-lanterns and what costume they may want to transform into for that Halloween night. My kids are older, but still seem to need a costume for a Party and my daughter and I still love to carve a pumpkin. If you look on Pinterest, I have seen an enormous amount of Halloween costume ideas that you can make and carving ideas. We are enjoying the fall color changing with the foliage here in Pennsylvania. This is my favorite time of year, I just love it. The weather is just perfect and the evening walks with the dogs are so beautiful.    Apple season is here, it is almost time for a Apple Cooking Challenge. "Date for this will be announced  soon." You know those old brown salt & pepper shakers, no one wants these days. Here is a thrifty idea, if you happen to run across a pair at a garage sale, thrift store, or a flea market. I just love this idea.  This will be on my list to keep an eye out for.

Autumn Garland Owl made with packing cardboard.  I saw this picture, no instructions  but I will try to create this owl and share with my readers.
