White Chocolate, Cranberry & Blueberry Cookies  Thumbs Up!!!  These are delicious, they were a hit with the family and friends. My husband loved them. He said, " the taste of a muffin, with the crunch of a cookie."   The berries gave the cookie great flavor, with scrumptious white chocolate. Served them on the 4th.  What a great patriotic cookie. Hello Reader, Happy Fourth Of July Happy 4th of July, hope you all celebrated with a bang. Our family and friends celebrated with a All American Barbecue. Hamburgers, Hot dogs, Brauts,  Chips, Pasta& Potato Salad, Watermelon Salad, & of course lots of Desserts. :)  We had a great time with are friends and their kids. We made a White Trash "slip an slide" with a large piece of plastic and water balloon fights. The kids had a blast!!! We of course had a bang of fireworks once the sun went down. We had a fabulous celebration, it is nice to spend time with friends. Happy Forth, Kim

Blackberry Cobbler -   Thumbs Up!    I  enjoyed the cobbler, the dough was tasty and the texture was satisfying. It wasn't to doughy and had a little crunch to it. My family doesn't prefer the blackberries (they don't like the seeds), so no review from them. If you are a blackberry fan, try this. It is a simple recipe and you will enjoy the taste. Creme Caramel - Thumbs Up!   The family and I liked this. I am a custard fan, so I really enjoyed this. I have never attempted to make a custard, first time here!  The one thing that I believe that I did wrong was not cooking the sugar glaze long enough. It wasn't dark in color like you see in most custard sauce. The custard texture and taste was right on. Hello Readers, Weekend is over and back to working, crafting, and getting ready for the 4th.  Spent some fun time with the family and friends. Attending a picnic, went out to the shooting range, went to a movie( White House Down, " great action movie" FYI) and did a little shopping.  Hope all of you out there had a wonderful weekend. Baking Challenge Update- Things are going well. I will say it is hard to bake something everyday, no worries right?  I am half way!!!!! I will be coming up with some 4th July ideas. So stay tuned for that. Thrifty Update- The Wardrobe is almost complete. It is coming along. Just need to attach the round feet and Knobs.  I am going to start today on the metal cart, one of the other items we found at the flea market.
