Raspberry Dreams are done!

Raspberry Dreams- These were tasty, little tart, but sweet. Family said they were good.  Not sure they will ask for them again. You could switch the preserves and change up the flavor. Raspberry isn't for everyone. Just a thought! Details on recipe page.

Baking Challenge Update

Blueberry Sour Cream Torte is finished. It tastes delicious, and four thumbs up, from family and friends. I would definitely recommend this dessert. Not to sweet, and not to tart, just right. Check out the recipe page for details and pictures!

Baking Challenge Thoughts

Hello Readers, The beginning of my baking challenge. I have looked through old cookbooks, new cookbooks & magazines to find recipes. All recipes are new to me. What an adventure, doing something that I love to do and also share with you all. I hope that there will not be moments of struggle or flops per say. This may happen to the best chef's, right?  The family is excited to be my taste testers. I hope you all follow me on this journey. Excited to start, Kim

Sharing Thoughts

Hello Readers, For the last two days it has rained here in Muncy, Pa. This is definitely enough for me and I can surely do without the humidity.  I would take a hot dry day or snow day over rain and humid weather.  It is just not "my cup of tea" Just a thought :) FYI- On my craft page, I have started  a couple of projects. They are coming along, I will update on the craft page later today. Upcoming events for my blog. New challenge!   I will be making One dessert a day for 30 days. Each day will be new recipe that I have never made. I just love to explore new recipes. I am excited and I hope you all tune in daily to see what delicious dessert I come up with. Start date is June 14th. Craft projects in the works - Cone Santas, Front porch sign, remake of porch sign for back porch, and nesting boxes. Flea market search for a Hutch/Wardrobe piece and a dresser! Have a fabulous day!

Sunday

Happy Sunday Readers, Yesterday, my trip to the flea market.  No luck on the hutch, wardrobe, etc. Ok, I saw a few, just not in my price range. I am looking for a little fixer upper. I will try next weekend. I did come across some interesting items. I love to come up with off the wall, but cool stuff.  Hope you all are having a fabulous weekend. It is gorgeous here today in Muncy. It is in the 70*s and sunny. This is definitely my kind of weather. Kids are out of school, so its Summer!  No big plans here. Possibly a trip to the beach here on the east coast. We are from the west coast, so looking foward to the trip. We will be planning a trip to New York City, not sure when. I am planning to send postcards from each destination that we take this summer and make that cool book idea. I believe it will work well with a bunch on little trips throughout the summer. What fun trips to you all have planned. Comment and Share! Kim
