Hello Readers,
You have probably noticed that I haven't published in a few days. Here is the story why......
My daughter and I are on a vacation. We came out to California to surprise the family. Boy! were they surprised. Nobody had a clue, there were happy tears, screaming and laughter. My family reads the blog so I was unable to notify all of you on our plans.
No worries, I will be back home before you know it and back to crafts, thrifty ideas, and more. While here on vacation I will post all about our adventure.
The beginning of the trip started off a little bumpy. We left the house about 8 am eastern time. Flew out of Philadelphia so that is about 2 hours and 45 minutes from home. Our flight was scheduled to depart at 1:55 pm and there was a delay. We left 40 minutes late, boy I new we had a short lay over. So to make this short, we had 10 minutes to meet our connecting flight. We grabbed out belongings and started running. Of course it was in the next concourse. My daughter ran ahead, she is in shape, not me. The plane was leaving the gate. So we were stuck in Phoenix for 3 hours. This made are plans messed up. We left Phoenix at 8 pm which landed us in Oakland at 10 pm. So we decided to call the parents and let them know we were coming.With our drive, showing up at 12 midnight would be to much of a surprise . They were surprised over the phone!!! This made a really long day for us, but full of excitement.
The following day was more surprising. First was my bothers house, my sister in law tear up and my nephews were so happy. This was the first time to see my new niece. We are here for her 1st birthday. We are so excited for that. Next stop was my sisters house. Pulled up and my niece was out side, my daughter jumped out and the screams of excitement started. My sis, was teared and ready to kill me, but happy, and the rest of the family was also surprised. My niece and daughter went to my other nieces work and totally surprised her. What a day we had!!!!!! The first days are about see the family, catching up and all that fun.
