Today is the "Washington State Apple Pie"
I make pies all the time, but I decides to try a Apple pie recipe that is different from my original. Using brown sugar in the pie is new to me and cooking the apples on the stove first is a step I have never used for my Apple Pies.
The pie just came out of the oven, waiting for it to cool, then cutting a piece to try. I had a busy day today and I got off to a late start on my baking. You ever have those days, where you are still busy and everyone else is in bed. Well, today is that day for me.
